Chi Omega Make-A-Wish

I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting my sisters in Chi Omega back on Mizzou's campus last night. The Rho Alpha chapter of Chi Omega partners with The Make-A-Wish Foundation and every year grants a wish to as many children as possible in the community. Last night, Chi Omega granted one special little boy, Luke, his wish of a trip to Disney World through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The women of Chi Omega, Truman the Tiger, and I had such a fun night celebrating Luke and his wish come true :)

Fort Zumwalt North HS

I had the pleasure of speaking to Mrs. Wulfert's senior leadership class today at Fort Zumwalt North HS in St. Louis, MO :) I shared with them a few of my experiences from both before and after the Miss Missouri USA 2011 pageant and the qualities that I believe every great leader should encompass. They had wonderful questions and I really enjoyed my time with the class!

Big thank you to Fort Zumwalt North HS for giving me the opportunity to visit, you guys made my day :)

Springfield Ballet Princess Tea Party

This weekend I had the opportunity to be a part of the annual Princess Tea Party and Children's Fashion Show! It was such an adorable event and all proceeds went to the Springfield Ballet.

All of these little princesses won the hearts of Sydnee and I-- look how cute they are!!!

Such a wonderful turnout for the event and I think everyone had a good time. I am truly blessed to have the best job in the world :)

Mizzou Children's Hospital

I had the honor of being able to visit the Mizzou Children's Hospital in Columbia yesterday. All I have to say after the visit is "Wow"... Not only is the building brand new and beautiful, but the children and staff were so wonderful.

In the children's play room-- we were making a house out of Lego's :)

I'm so lucky to be able to make visits with my beautiful teen sister, Sydney!

If I touched their lives even a fraction of how much these children touch mine... then I'm happy. The title of Miss Missouri USA makes me feel blessed and thankful every single day. I look forward to visiting the Mizzou Children's Hospital again soon :)

Vanbros Bootcamps

Vanbros bootcamp always reminds me how incredibly blessed I am to have such a supportive team helping me out. My director, John, is the most amazing director I could ask for... he is so dedicated to his job and truly does want the very best for me, as well as, the other Vanbros girls. I am so lucky to be able to work with the Vanbros team.

To the most amazing pageant interview coach, Valerie Hayes... all I can say is WOW. You really are one of the most intelligent and incredible women I have met and look forward to working with you in the future.

Here is a sneak peak of a couple photos from our Vanbros photoshoot with Will Patterson :)

Every single day I am reminded that being Miss Missouri USA 2011 is a dream come true and the most amazing job I am ever going to have :)

Jefferson City Day Care Center Trivia Night Benefit :)

Last night I had the opportunity to co-host Trivia Night at the Truman hotel. Not only was this one of the most fun events I have ever participated in, it also helped a wonderful cause. All proceeds of the night went to the Jefferson City Day Care Center.
There was such an incredible turn out of teams, great door prizes and raffles, and everyone was there in good spirit to help out the children at the Jefferson City Day Care Center.

My co-host Mike and I had such a great time reading all of the questions and I we even learned a little bit ourselves!!
A huge thank you to everyone that came out to Trivia Night and for letting me be involved in your terrific event.
