It was an honor for me to have the opportunity to speak at the Rotary Club meeting in Columbia yesterday morning. The Rotary organization is the world’s very first service organization with thousands of members nationwide. I have always been fairly familiar with the Rotary Clubs throughout Columbia and Jefferson City as many of the members have served as long time leaders in our community.
I even ran into a former Mizzou Prof. of mine!
I always enjoy my speaking engagements and the Columbia Rotary Club proved to be no exception! As Miss Missouri USA 2011 it is wonderful to be able to join efforts such as the Rotary Club in making our community a better place.
